Welcome to our blog!
Carol & I are nearing the beginning of our retirement adventure. Carol will officially retire on March 29, 2013 and I will join her "on the dole" on April 26, 2013. Hooya !!!!
We're starting this blog to keep friends and family posted on our adventure starting with our California cruise in the first part of May, then on to Mexico for the last half of the month. When we get back from Mexico, we'll prepare and begin our motorhome tour of the Western United States. Look for the "Off We Go" post to start the day count of the pools being formed as we speak.
We will be include periodic pictures and videos of the adventure so you can be part of it and give us helpful hints and suggestions on how to "survive in the wild". Our hope is that not only we will stay in touch, but also that we have lots of fun with each other while on the trip. Why, if we're lucky, some of you will join us along the way during the adventure.
Anyway, this is my test to see if the blogspot works and we can start the fun.
